Talk to Cure is a mental health and wellness platform initiated by Ms Neelam Verma in 2015. It was launched as an online platform for individuals seeking psychological support. In no time, this platform gained the attention of many people and served all over India online. In 2020, Talk to Cure expanded its services to offline mode. It is currently based in Electronic City, Bangalore and provides services in both online and offline modes. Talk to Cure has successfully trained hundreds of psychology students, providing them with valuable opportunities to learn essential skills required for professional competency. These students have been guided to pursue their professional journey confidently and professionally.
Neelam Verma, a licensed Clinical Psychologist recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India, has significantly succeeded throughout her academic years and professional career. She completed her Masters in Psychology in 2008 from Mahila PG College, University of Lucknow. In 2009, Neelam completed a one-year PG diploma in Counseling and Psychotherapy from Banaras Hindu University. From 2009 to 2011, she pursued an M.Phil. (Master of Philosophy) degree in Clinical Psychology from IHBAS (Institute of Human Behaviour and Allied Sciences), one of Delhi’s most prestigious Neuropsychiatric set-ups. During these two years of residential training, she successfully completed her rotatory postings in Psychiatry, CAGC (Child & Adolescent Guidance Clinic), BT (Behaviour Therapy) Unit, DATRC (Drug De-addiction Treatment and Rehabilitation Centre), and Neuro-Psychology. Throughout her academic journey, her exceptional educational performance was acknowledged by the universities she attended.
After completing her M.Phil. degree, she joined Nur Manzil Psychiatric Center in Lucknow, one of the renowned and leading psychiatric establishments in Uttar Pradesh. The centre has served a large population in and around the city for years. She worked there as a consultant and was in charge of CAGC from 2011 to 2014. In 2015, she started her own venture, Talk to Cure.
Neelam has actively contributed to the psychology literature and has had various national and international publications. She has also trained Psychology aspirants and guided them to pursue their dreams. Being a lifetime professional member of the IACP (Indian Association of Clinical Psychologists), she volunteered to extend psychological support to individuals on a pro-bono basis during COVID-19. She helped many people who suffered emotional trauma due to the pandemic.
Since 2015, Talk to Cure has managed to build a stable client base and has an impressive success rate in what it promises to deliver. It has many satisfied and happy clients, and the number is increasing as we count each day.
